Peter Pan Junk Journal

A while back I made a Peter Pan journal for my niece who has loved Peter Pan since childhood. I never posted pictures of it on my blog, so am doing so now.

I used original pages from a couple Peter Pan books (one vintage and one newer), as well as a few Peter Pan digital silhouette images I was able to purchase from Etsy. Many of the backgrounds are from the Just the Basics Watercolor Papers from TLC Creates Vintage on Etsy. (I used them as tags and pockets, as well as backgrounds.) And, of course, I used some of the great quotes from Peter Pan.

I created this waterfall flip-up from photos of my niece and her family in their Peter Pan Halloween costumes a few years ago. It was the perfect addition.

Free Printables: Vintage Paris Fashion Tags

I'm finishing up a vintage Paris journal and decided I needed some additional tags for it. These are the results.

To save these printables (on a PC): Click the image to show it full size. Then right click and choose "Save image as...". Save to your computer in a place that you'll remember. Then choose Save.

To print: When you are ready to print, click the saved image. It will usually open in a program that you can use to print it. If not, print using whatever program you use for printing. You can also insert into a word processing program and resize the image before printing.

Free Printables: French Ephemera Tags with French Chateau

I recently created a set of neutral journal background pages featuring mostly French ephemera. I designed them in both vintage brown tones, as well as gray scale. The advantage to the gray scale versions is that you can print them on tinted paper or parchment (my preference) and not use up that precious yellow ink that runs out so quickly.

I felt that the kit of backgrounds needed some coordinating tags -- and these are the result. The first one is shown here. The other three are further down on the page.

This first tag is for a wine maker.

This shows the 19 backgrounds in browns.

This shows the same backgrounds in black/white/gray.

You can find this Vintage Grunge Ephemera Backgrounds kit HERE.

And here are the other three coordinating tags.

This tag is for a Paris hotel.

This tag is for a producer/seller of cocoa leaves.

And this tag is for another hotel. The ephemera is a handwritten bill for someone's stay at the hotel.

Free Printables: More French Country

I created some journaling cards to go with my French Country journal kit. There are three with red backgrounds and three with black backgrounds.

Here's what the French Country journal kit looks like. It is available HERE.

Here are the coordinating journal cards in red:

And here they are in black and gray:

Steampunk Junk Journal

I finished this journal a while ago and am finally getting around to sharing it and putting into my Etsy shop. You can find the journal listing HERE.

It is 3.5 inches by 5 inches, with a 1.25 inch spine. There are three 10-sheet signatures for a total of 120 pages. The signatures are sewn into the spine with waxed linen thread. Several pages include die-cut gears to further embellish the pages. And I love the color scheme that has pops of teal.

A simple collage adorns the front cover. There is a hitch post closure. And there is a charm on a tab on the front page of each signature.
