Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to comment.
Are you a no-reply blogger?
A no-reply blogger is someone that leaves a comment on a blogger blog, but doesn't have their email address linked to their account.
Why should you care? If you leave a comment I won't be able to respond to you. And if that comment included a question for me, I can't answer the question. Yes, I could write the answer for all to see, but you have to come back to my blog to see the answer. You can ask to be notified of any comments made to that blog post, but you will receive an email message for every comment that is added.
If you would like to receive a return message from me so you won't feel like I'm purposely ignoring you, please consider linking your email address to your account.
To see how to turn off the "no-reply" option, please visit this post:

Nancy - That design is just adorable! I love it. I can't wait to see how this looks stitched up with the colors you chose. I can't tell you how happy I've found your blog - it's not too often you find someone who stitches, quilts and seems to like all the same things that you do. And a designer to boot!
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb. So many quilts and cross cross stitch projects, but so little time.
ReplyDeleteAnother great design, Nancy! Anything with a bee skep is a winner in my book! Love it!
ReplyDeleteLove your new design. I've just begun to work with WDW thread and some silk ones. They are beautiful

Terri: I'm a sucker for bees and beehives / beeskeps. I began collecting decorative beehives about 17 years ago -- mostly antique honeypots at antique stores. After about 3 or 4 years, they started to catch on and were easier to find (plus eBay helped me complete my collection).
ReplyDeleteLinda: Don't you love stitching with silk? I do like the WDW threads because of look of the overdyed colors. But, as you probably know, you need to complete each stitch rather than do a row with stitches in one direction, and then finish the row with all of the stitches in the opposite direction. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of using this variegated floss.

Hi
ReplyDeleteI do love the WDW threads. I'm going to seem really dumb here, but when I first started working with them, I didn't realize why it was necessary to finish a stitch. The variegation makes a lovely texture.
