Free Printables: "Postage Stamp" Journaling Cards

I discovered some gorgeous hummingbird images from 1874 and decided to create some faux postage stamps. But I made them big enough for journaling. They are about 3 X 4 inches.

I hope you enjoy using them.

Free Printables: Journaling Cards with Music, Birds, and Postcards

It's always a challenge to create a unique background for printables. I decided to combine a vintage postcard image with sheet music. I then used a feature in Photoshop Elements that is quickly becoming my favorite -- Photoshop Brushes.

The Graphics Fairy includes Photoshop Brushes of each of their weekly bundles. The bird cages and frame in the journaling cards below came from The Graphics Fairy (as did the bird images). But I thought the printables still needed a little bit more pizzazz. I found a royalty-free brush that has checkerboard patterns and I scattered them around the journaling cards. It was just what they needed. Enjoy!

Journal Flip Through: Vintage Ephemera With Birds and Botanicals

I'm sharing my newest journal. This is definitely going to become one of my favorites. I used three of my digital kits, plus miscellaneous printables from my blog and my stash. This journal is available for sale at my Etsy store found HERE.

The background pages are from my Layered Vintage Ephemera kit found HERE. I shrunk the pages to fit the passport journal. I also cut pockets from printouts of this kit.

I also used my Vintage Grunge Shabby Chic Postcards kit found HERE. However, I enlarged the postcards to fit the passport journal as background pages.I also cut belly bands from this kit.

And lastly, I used the Vintage Ephemera Collage tags found HERE.

The paper I used for the background pages is 32# Southworth Specialty Parchment Paper, found HERE on Amazon.

I printed pockets, belly bands, and tags from 65# Southworth Specialty Parchment Paper, found HERE on Amazon.

I still need to add a library pocket to both the inside front and back covers.
