Free Printables: Tags From Vintage Corset Trade Cards

There are so many vintage corset ads and trade cards from the 1870s through the 1890s. Probably because they were  essential purchases for the fashionable woman. It's hard to imagine that a hundred years from now shapewear ads will be interesting to look at, but these from the 19th century definitely are. I did tags from the front of the trade cards, as well as from the backs. Tags measure 2X3 inches, but can easily be resized as needed.

Not so sure that I'd want to wear a cork corset.

I hope you enjoy using them.

Free Printables: Feminine Collages

I had fun creating some collages that would be great as journaling cards in a shabby chic journal. They measure 4X4 inches.

I hope you enjoy using them.

Free Printables: Pockets and Tags with Red, Green and White Flowers

This is a combination of pockets and tags that are sized to fit into the pockets. They have collaged ephemera backgrounds, overlaid with red, green, and white flowers. When folded, the envelopes are 3 X 4 inches.

To assemble the pockets: Fold the pockets on each side of the center panel; glue one side on top of the other. Fold the bottom flap and glue to the back of the pocket. I then use a 1-1/2-inch hole punch to cut the opening through the entire pocket. Alternately, you can cut out the pocket openings before assembly.

I hope you enjoy using them.

Free Printables: "Postage Stamp" Journaling Cards

I discovered some gorgeous hummingbird images from 1874 and decided to create some faux postage stamps. But I made them big enough for journaling. They are about 3 X 4 inches.

I hope you enjoy using them.

Free Printables: Journaling Cards with Music, Birds, and Postcards

It's always a challenge to create a unique background for printables. I decided to combine a vintage postcard image with sheet music. I then used a feature in Photoshop Elements that is quickly becoming my favorite -- Photoshop Brushes.

The Graphics Fairy includes Photoshop Brushes of each of their weekly bundles. The bird cages and frame in the journaling cards below came from The Graphics Fairy (as did the bird images). But I thought the printables still needed a little bit more pizzazz. I found a royalty-free brush that has checkerboard patterns and I scattered them around the journaling cards. It was just what they needed. Enjoy!

The Graphics Fairy has a "Back to School" collection of images that I've wanted to use for a while. Today was the day.  The result was six ATC cards (2-1/2 X 3-1/2).

Free Printables: Halloween Tickets

Well, Halloween candy is in the stores so I guess it isn't too soon to start making Halloween printables. Here are some tickets featuring images from vintage Halloween cards. They measure about 1.5 X 4 inches.
